Race Description and Other Odds 'n Ends
The course will be run on dirt roads, logging roads and singletrack. The 4 mile race will be on mostly flat, uneven, and wet terrain. The 14 mile race is the same as last year with the beaver pond, short steep hills, mud, water, long steep hills, and more mud. The scenic cliffwalk will still be there for the 2nd year. The two races will be run over the same course for the first and last two miles. Although the chance of a fatal encounter with grizzly bears, rattlesnakes, or killer bees will be minimal, you might encounter moose, black bear, deer, beaver, timberdoodle, wild turkey, crazed runners, mountain bikers, or more mudane wildlife. The chance of injury is possible due to the nature of the course. This is not a flat race on paved roads. It will be scenic, and will also involve hidden and not so hidden sticks, logs, stmps, holes, and rocks. Getting lost is not likely, but is a possibility. Great pains have been taken to assure a more easily followed course, however, it is impossible to prevent vandalism to course markers, or runners in "oxygen debt" from from missing course markers. Please do not enter the race if these risks scare the crap out of you.

Awards will be handed out at the end of the race for overall winners and race group winners.
