The 2004 Races are April 25th
The 5th annual Muddy Moose Trail Races are set to run on April 25, 2004 with a starting time of 10 am at the same location, the Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro, NH. The race director is now Fergus Cullen, but Dan Coons is still involved, so don't expect to see any less mud! |
Hopefully you won't be seeing this site on the course... hopefully.
You might encounter wildlife, just pray it isn't hungry. |

The Shoe Sucking Mud Award
When a runner had his shoe sucked off by mud in 2001, he finished the last 2 miles of the course with only one shoe. The shoe was released by the mud several months later; and it is now part of the award. The award is a board where we list all racers who have their shoe completely pulled off by mud. If this occurs to you during the run, be sure to let Bob Mathes know so you can be added to the list! We had 3 new members added to the shoe-sucking Mud Award this year: Cassie, Alan, and an unknown man in a yellow shirt.
